Description of services |

CARE’s Women
and Families Program offers free, comprehensive case management,
which include follow up phone calls, addressing client’s
individual needs, and referring clients out to other
organizations/programs if needed. |

The program offers the Women’s Treatment Fund. The fund is used
to assist clients with transportation to get to and from
treatment, which can include but not limited to fuel gift cards,
bus tickets and assistance with vehicle repair. Any woman in
substance abuse treatment in Macomb County may qualify for this
assistance. |

Assistance criteria |
|
To be eligible for case management with the Women and Families
Program a woman must be currently in substance abuse treatment
or waiting to be placed in substance abuse treatment and be
referred by the clinician that initially assessed her at CARE. |
