STUDENTS/YOUTH MENTAL HEALTH EVALUATION
CARE’s Student Assistance program offers families the opportunity to receive a thorough assessment for children who are experiencing substance use or mental health problems.

Students and their families who are experiencing substance use concerns and meet certain criteria can meet with an experienced substance use/mental health counselor to gain insight into their problems and receive assistance in gaining access into the most appropriate treatment option. A sliding fee schedule is available.

CARE’s Student Assistance program has agreements with many school districts and provides opportunities for the family, district personnel and CARE’s Student Assistance staff to work closely to follow the student throughout their substance use or mental health treatment plan.

Please call CARE’s Student Assistance program at 586.541.2273 to see if your child qualifies for a FREE assessment.
